"[A]ny plausible solution for the persisting problems caused by modern science and technology can be achieved not by better engineering or further progress but by reconsidering the entire perspective of the modern worldview regarding nature, human life, and its meaning"

This sounds suspiciously like "Any answers that you want, we'll just have to ask different questions for". While it's easy to agree with (hey, I do to a point), I think ascribing to it wholeheartedly can produce groups of people who only know how to ask questions, and not how to do anything with the results.

Maybe I've been infected by pragmatism lately. At any rate, thanks for your good wishes, and I hope you're doing well. Drop me a line at jsebens(at)sbcglobal(dot)net sometime.

Hello Professor Broderick,

John Winnen here. I hope everything is going well for you. I tried reaching you through ksu email, but was unsuccessful. After a little bit of hunting, it seems this may be my only option to reach you. Anyway, I too am no longer at ksu, but am pursuing law school instead. I quickly realized that the academic life is not for me. I actually had a request of you, so if this reaches you, would you please contact me at jlwinnen@gmail.com. Best regards.
